This World Cup is not bad
Bravo, the Azzurri. They deserved it. They deserved the most pretigious cup in the world of sports after beating France in a penalty shoot-out. No doubt Italy was the most consistent team throughout the tournament. The most interesting thing to see was that everyone in the team could score. It was the defenders who led Italy to victory in the end by defending and scoring at the same time. Amazing.After 31 days and 64 matches of world cup (for me it's more like 31 days of sleep deprivation and puffiness of the eyes), finally I got to pay back my sleep debt. It was great though. I enjoyed every second of the cup, although the Brazilians disappointed me. What's the use of achieving FIFA player of the year if you can't do shit for your country, especially during the most crucial moments in the World Cup. Ronaldinho sux. No excuse. Even a 34-year-old man played a better game.
Man of The Tournament - Fabio Cannavaro
Why is everyone praising the 30 million pounds Buffon when Italy conceded only 2 goals throughout the tournament? I have to admit that he did make several crucial saves. However, the amount of saves he had to make might have doubled or tripled if it's not because of the existence of the captain. Come on, guys. Who was the one who did all the dirty work, throwing his body and legs around the pitch without even thinking about his own safety? He was the most consistent defender throughout the tournament. I have to say that John Terry sux compared to him. I suck at football. But I wouldn't be so scared of a 175cm defender (shorter than me) if I was a striker (as if I can be one). However, he could win almost all the attempts to get or clear the ball. Anyone who watched the final match would think that he should have won the man of the match instead of Pirlo. He's really the man.
Most disappointing man - Zinedine Zidane
This man has been my favourite player since I started watching football. But what the f*ck is this?
Speechless. Like my mate Xiao said, 15 years of greatness lost in 15 seconds of madness. Indeed. I respected him a lot. I thought he was a legend. But now I think he's just a brainless dumbass and a grumpy old man. I'm being realistic. People only remember what's bad, no matter how much good stuff u've done for the people around u. I realise I'll be facing the same thing in the future. No matter how many lives I save, I'll be dead if I make one, only one mistake. This is reality.
Come on. U can stand the mocking, dangerous tackling, shoulder injury and extreme exhaustion for 110 minutes, but why can't u do it for another 10 minutes more? What was that. A botak headbutts an ah beng. I wouldn't say Materazzi was acting. Considering Zidane's superb strong header which almost scored, the header on Materazzi's chest should hurt too. Tie tou gong (mandarin) in action, kinda cool though.
How sad was this? Last match of his entire life ended by walking pass the cup in tears. That was his last action as a footballer. I surely hope that was. Nobody could tolerate that kind of action. Only the French could, u know, just to make themselves feel better by giving all sort of excuses.
Most exciting match - Germany vs Italy
Watch England play? Oh plssss. I'd rather go play with Bunny and shoot somemore photos of him. I think most people will agree with me that the semi-final match between the host nation and the Azzurri was the best match in the entire World Cup. It was full of actions and emotions. No more boring defensvie football. "I score 1st, then u die!" kind of spirit. The 118th-minute goal almost made me lose my fingers when I jumped up so high with my arms raised that the fan almost cut my fingers. Die la if I lost my fingers. I can't play with a lot of things, u know. Just look at Grosso's expression when he celebrated his goal.
He was in tears of extreme joy and excitement. I couldn't think of any moment that can make someone as happy as scoring at 118th minute and led his team to victory against the host nation. Not even Federer winning the Wimbledon on the same day. GREAT match.
Most disappointing team - Brazil
What the heck. I wouldn't be so disappointed by England coz I already expected how they would perform. Only the media made them look so good and the idiots got fooled.
Brazil was the most expensive team in the world. They got paid so much just to train in Switzerland. Everyone expected so much from the Brazilians but they were rather disappointing. What the heck la, an all-star team with FIFA player of the year lost to an old-man team with half of them exceeding 30 years old? Look at Ribery. He shone throughout the match against Brazil. Look at Ronaldinho, Kaka, Adriano and the fat ass Ronaldo. Expensive but useless. Better go back eat ur burger and turkey, Ronaldo.
World Cup is over. Great news. Now go back to sleep.
