My blog has been dead for quite some time...Finally I'm in London! Landed in Heathrow Airport on 25 August 2006 at 6 am and haven't got internet access till today. This pathetic little halls' wireless network isn't working well that I've 2 bare the freezing cold wind to come to the computer room next to my block to go online. This stupid wireless network gave me so much anticipation the moment I landed and got me swearing the whole last night.
Now everything is settled, I'll try 2 get myself acclimatized to this place. Food sux. I hate western food. Ok, not exactly, mash potatoes rock. Finger lickin' good. London is the coolest place i've been to. Wait a minute, it's the only place outside my country that i've been to. Amazing. More photos to come. Still, food sux. Luckily Tooting has this shop called iceland that I can get some frozen curry chicken with rice.
Oh British fellows...Why do u have to speak in that kind of accent? n why can't u understand what i'm talking about when I talk in tremendous speed in my lovely Malaysian accent? hey brudder, Malaysian English very good what...so easy to understand also u dun know one...Aduhhh. Oh God...I regret that I didn't watch more British movies b4 i came here. Anyway, no British movies were shown on astro. Sitting beside a 48-year-old female patient in St George's Hospital for the 1st time and listening to her talking about her illness made me feel like a moron. I could hardly comprehend 50% of it... Noddin' n smilin' were d best response I could give...F*!£$$&. Ok so I's supposed 2 show empathy to the patient through words. Come on la, I'm already such a nice person full of compassion. I just dun know how to put them in words (British accent) only ma...Sigh, I have to really polish my communication skills that I alwez thought was a total crap back in IMU. IMU juniors who intend 2 go overseas for phase II, pls appreciate the communiaction skill lessons...Do it!!
Oh God pls help me survive these 3 years..................
